2025-2026 Request for Proposal (RFP) Cycle will open in January 2025

United Way of Brazoria County (UWBC) is committed to supporting organizations that provide vital services to residents across Brazoria County. UWBC offers grant opportunities for projects and programs aligned with our core impact pillars: Healthy Communities, Youth Opportunity, Financial Security, and Community Resiliency. This structured grant system ensures that funds are directed toward impactful and sustainable programs that align with UWBC’s vision of a healthier, more resilient, and prosperous community for all residents of Brazoria County.

UWBC has established two distinct levels of funding:

New Grant Proposals (Up to $10,000) New community partners, as well as current partners proposing new initiatives, may apply for up to $10,000 in their first year of funding. This level is designed to encourage the development of innovative projects that align with UWBC's pillars and provide measurable benefits to Brazoria County residents.
Existing and Expansion Grant Proposals ($10,001 - $100,000) This level is reserved for current community partners with existing programs. Applicants seeking funding at this level must demonstrate a track record of success through historical data, well-documented outcome measurements, and strong collaboration with other organizations. Funding is intended to either sustain successful existing programs or to support the expansion of proven initiatives to reach a broader audience or deliver deeper impact.

Funding Restrictions

UWBC does not provide funding for capital expenses or capacity-building efforts. Additionally, each nonprofit organization is limited to applying for and receiving a cumulative total of $100,000 for all programs within a funding cycle.

RFP Applications Closed: Friday, February 14th 5:00 PM

In-Person Panel Presentations: April, 2025

Notice of Award: June, 2025

Contract Start Date: July, 2025
