The UWBC Community Impact Advisory Council (CIAC) is a team of Request for Proposal reviewers who play an integral role in deciding how donor dollars are invested in addressing the critical needs of our community. The Committee's stewardship clearly distinguishes UWBC-funded programs and reassures donors that their dollars have been invested wisely using the nonprofit industry's gold standards for Best-Investment Criteria.
During the 2023-2024 fiscal year, United Way of Brazoria County’s (UWBC) Board of Directors approved the distribution of over $1,400,000 in allocation funding to 34 programs among 26 Community Partners in Brazoria County
as recommended by the UWBC Community Impact Advisory Council (CIAC).
Every year, community volunteers serve on the CIAC to help identify areas of community need and allocate funds to programs that meet these needs. United Way of Brazoria County focuses on education, income, health, and basic needs, which are the building blocks of a good quality of life.
